TRACK PROCEDURES 2010

Pit Gate will open at 4:00pm every Sunday,
except for special events will be at 3:30. |
|
Registration for all cars will be at the base of
the pit tower immediately upon arrival. |
|
The latest time of Registration
for all divisions will be as follows: Mini Stock &
Semi Pro by 5:40pm Pro Stock, Sportsman &
Modifieds by 6:00pm |
|
If you are not on time, you
will not run your heat but you may participate in hot laps and the
‘B’ main, if one is scheduled.
If not you will run at the rear of the field in the feature if
there is less than 24 cars.
No phone calls or excuses will be
considered |

Pit
Meeting for all drivers will be at the base of the Pit Tower
at 5:45pm
SHARP. HOT LAPS
Hot Laps for
Pro Stock will be at 5:15 SHARP
followed by Sportsman then Modified. HEATS The Heats will start with the
Mini Stock and continue with the Semi Pro / Pro Stock / Sportsman/
Modified Mini
Stock and Semi Pro .....................................6 laps Sportsman
& Pro stock........................................8 laps

system will be used in all
racing classes. Special
note**all Winners of their respective heats will take one VICTORY LAP
with the flag. CORNWALL
MOTOR SPEEDWAY is also paying bonus money to the Winners of their
respective heats in the Pro Stock, Sportsman and Modified Divisions. LETS GO RACING!!! At the
CORNWALL MOTOR SPEEDWAY, all racing on the track starts from turn four
and the Flagman will make the decision if in fact the start is a fair
one. All restarts will be
double file when the cars fall back in order and the last 3 laps will be
single file if a restart is required near the end. All race
cars will enter the pits by the pit entrance situated off of turn 3.
All race cars will continue to exit the pits from the original
turn 4 gate. Parking
positions for all race teams will be first come, first serve for only
the big invitations shows. All
other night, the paid parking places will be kept in order within reason
at the discretion of our track officials. Paid parking for
all divisions at Cornwall Motor Speedway is in fact a privilege.
On several race nights this season, paid parking will be assigned
by the race officials and some parking locations will not be available.

DURING RACE NIGHT MY BE DEALT WITH BY A FINE BETWEEN $100 - $200 AND A WARNING
ISSUED.

ANY DRIVER, CREW MEMBER OR FAMILY MEMBER INVOLVED IN ANY INFRACTIONS INVOLVING
LEAVING YOUR DESIGNATED PIT AREA AND GOING OVER TO ANOTHER TEAM, DISRUPTING
THE RACE PROGRAM OR MAKING THREATS OR GESTURES WILL BE DEALT WITH BY A FINE
BETWEEN $200 - $300 AND POSSIBLE SUSPENSION FROM THE SPEEDWAY.
LEVELÐ -
ANY DRIVER, CREW MEMBER OR FAMILY MEMBER INVOLVED IN ANY PHYSICAL CONTACT OR
INTENT TO CAUSE INJURY OR DAMAGE ANYWHERE ON SPEEDWAY PROPERTY WILL BE DEALT
WITH BY WAY OF FINE BETWEEN $300 - $400, RACING SUSPENSION AND MAY BE REQUIRED
TO POST A PERFORMANCE BOND WITH CORNWALL MOTOR SPEEDWAY BEFORE RETURNING TO
RACE.
ALL LEVELS OF DISCIPLINARY ACTION WILL BE DECIDED BY THE
RESPECTIVE INCIDENT AND THE RACE OFFICIALS AT CORNWALL MOTOR SPEEDWAY WILL
ASSESS THE PUNISHMENT.

DIVISIONS

1. All drivers must be ready to compete and have their cars in line before each event enters the track or they will be sent to the rear of the pack. |
|
2. Any cars not maintaining their assigned position, once past the pit gate, for any reason, must go back to the back of the field, even if the race has not started. This includes parade laps. |
|
3. Once the car has passed the pit gate, enters the track for the start of the race, or during the race, no team members or owners will be allowed on the track. Car and driver will be subject to immediate disqualification. |
|
4.
Drivers who miss their heats will not run in any other heats,
they must go to the B main. FEATURE

for special races where (26) will be called by the Race Officials at
CORNWALL MOTOR SPEEDWAY. Due to the overwhelming success in vehicle registration in the Semi Pro & Mini Stock divisions, the Race Director will decide how the feature will be raced including the amount of cars to be allowed on the racetrack and the length of the race on any given night. |

under the guidelines of the DIRT rule book. Heat lineups will continue to be balanced and heat
points will be as follows: 1st place...........................10

points You may purchase a DIRT rule book for this year at
the CORNWALL MOTOR SPEEDWAY office.
Meetings will
take place on Wednesday evenings from 7-8pmgthe Race Director
