Cornwall, Ont – Sunday, June 28, 2015 – Martin Bélanger – Mother Nature is obviously against big shows as Cornwall Motor Speedway as inclement weather forced the cancellation of the Super DIRTcar Big-Block event scheduled for tonight.
Rain overnight and early this morning along with rain forecast and cooler temperature for the day left no choice for promoter Raymond Lavergne to cancel tonight’s race program.
The Big Blocks will be back in town on Sunday, August 23rd as a makeup date! We had a busy night planned on that night, we will reshuffle the schedule and will advise everyone in the coming weeks.
Racing resumes on Canada Day with the second round of the Bandit Motorsports Sportsman Challenge on Wednesday, July 1st with a 100-lap Sportsman event along with 25-lap Pro-Stock, 35 laps for Semi-Pro, 25 laps Mini-Stock and the Vintage group. Racing will start at 3pm.
