Huge tripleheader this Sunday at Cornwall Motor Speedway!

Cornwall, Ont – Friday, May 31, 2013 – Martin Bélanger – A first for Cornwall Motor Speedway this Sunday evening with a tripleheader involving prestigious series as the Canadian Nationals for Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman et Pro-Stock Series will be on hand with a total of 200 laps of feature action on Jiffy Auto Services Night.

Several big names from Quebec will make the haul to Cornwall to try and win the event paying a cool $4,000 to the winner. Drivers such as David Hébert, Mario Clair, Steve Bernard, Yan Bussière, Clément and Alan Therrien along with track regulars Kayle Robidoux, Michel Chicoine, Bruno Lepage, Gabriel Richer and Daniel Nadeau will compete against the tough local regular that includes Carey Terrance, Laurent Ladouceur, Joel Doiron, Chris Raabe, Kyle Dingwall and company. One of the good fields of Modifieds of 2013 is expected for this coveted event.

With the presence of the DIRTcar Sportsman Series, several invaders will be visiting in order to win the 50-lap feature race, drivers from the Niagara region, Quebec and Northern New-York will be in competition against our great local drivers.

The Pro-Stock category will have their most important night of the year in Cornwall with 2 series in town as the DIRTcar Series in conjunction with the Mohawk Race Parts Series will be run during the 50-lap event. Again a great field of cars is expected with many competitors from other track making the haul for this race.

The Semi-Pro and Mini-Stock classes will have the night off, but they will return on June 9th with double features!

For Sunday`s event, the pit gates will open at 3:30pm with general admission unlocking at 4:30pm. Time trials for Modifieds will start at 6:30pm with the first heat scheduled to start at 7:00pm. It will cost $25 for adults in general admission, 15$ for seniors and Children 18 years and under, only 2$ to access the site. For pit admission, the price will be $35.

Cornwall, Ont – Sunday May 26, 2013 – Martin Bélanger – Mother Nature is obviously not a race fans in 2013, wet grounds mixed with cool temperatures forced promoter Ron Morin to cancel is opening night a second week in a row.

The Canadian Nationals Series will be back with a 100-lap feature race involving the the best drivers from Ontario, Quebec and Northeastern United-States. Drivers such as Mario Clair, David Hébert, Steve Bernard, Yan Bussière and many others will try and win the $4,000 purse given to the winner against the best local drivers in the likes of Laurent Ladouceur, Chris Raabe, Joel Doiron, Kyle Dingwall and company. One of the biggest fields of the season is expected.

A huge field of Sportsman will be in Cornwall next Sunday as the DIRTcar Sportsman Series will make a stop in Cornwall for a 50-lap Feature event. The best in the business in the Sportsman ranks will haul to the Speedway for round 1 of this coveted series.

Pro-Stock drivers will have two good reasons to be in Cornwall next week as the DIRTcar Pro-Stock Series and Mohawk Race Parts Series will host their initial event of the season. A strong contingent of invaders will drive in Eastern Ontario for this 50-lap race feature.

Semi-Pro and Mini-Stock divisions will have a night off, but they will return to action on June 9th will double features!

To see this great night of racing, it will only cost $25 for adults, 15$ for seniors, 2$ for children 18 years and under and to access the pits, it will be $35. 100-lap Canadian Nationals this Sunday to open 2013 at Cornwall Motor Speedway!

Cornwall, Ont – Friday, May 24, 2013 – Martin Bélanger – Cornwall Motor Speedway will have a second shot for opening night this Sunday as the Gaetan`s Chip Stand Canadian Nationals Series will be the highlight of the evening with a 100-lap Modified feature race along with a full program sponsored by The Squire Shop.

When the cancellation announcement was made last Sunday, already over 100 cars had registered for opening night.

The Tracy Wheeler Storm Realty Sportsman category will have a great field of cars as over 25 drivers were already on hand last week as several newcomers joined the ranks.

With Joey Ladouceur leaving the Alexandria Home Hardware Pro-Stock division to join the Sportsman ranks, this will open the championship hunt for several drivers. The return of Dave Bissonnette will add an extra challenge for everyone.

The Evans Bus Lines Semi-Pro group will continue to offer great evening of racing throughout the next season as a competitive field will be present each night.

A healthy field of Mini-Stock will be present for 2013, as several new drivers will join the ranks of the support division. We had a glimpse at registration last Sunday with the amount of new names registered.

With the cancellation and postponement of the Canadian Nationals Series to this Sunday, the photo and autograph night will be held on Sunday, June 9th.
