High Car Counts Anticipated in Sportsman Division at Cornwall Motor Speedway in 2013

All signs point to an impressive increase in participation in the Sportsman Division in 2013.  The high numbers have forced the track to split the group into Novice and Expert and will make things interesting each week.  The DIRTcar Sportsman Series returns on Sunday June 2nd, and the Seaway Sportsman Series hits the track on Sunday, September 1st.  

Canadian National Series Returns to Cornwall Motor Speedway With Three Huge Events in 2013

The Canadian Nationals Series Returns to Cornwall this season with three action packed events.  The first two races are 100 laps, paying $4000 to win and are held on May 19th and August 4th.  The final race is on Sunday, September 1st with $5000 on the line in the 125 lap race that features a mandatory on track pit stop.

The World of Outlaw Late Models Return to Cornwall Speedway in 2013

All the big names of the World of Outlaw Late Model Series return to Cornwall Speedway on Sunday, June 23rd. They were rained out last season, and last raced at Cornwall in 2009 as Josh Richards picked up the inaugural win.  

World of Outlaw Sprint Cars Set to Dazzle Hometown  Fans for Second Year in a Row

These machines turned laps just over the 10 second mark at Cornwall Motor Speedway in 2012.  Under the right circumstances, they could dip below that mark when they return on Sunday, July 28th.  Multi-time WoO Sprint champion Steve Kinser will lead the way along with teammate and last year’s winner Donnie Schatz.  

Pro Stock Division Has Several Big Events Scheduled in 2013

The Pro Stock Division is wide open in 2013 with the graduation of perennial champion Joey Ladouceur.  They have a pair of Mohawk Racing Parts Pro Stock Series events, scheduled on May 19th and September 1st, as well as a Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock tour race on Sunday, June 2nd.  

The Cornwall Motor Speedway Kids Club Returns in 2013 With Exciting Events for Young Fans

The always popular Wendy’s/Alexandria Home Hardware Kids Club returns to Cornwall Motor Speedway.  Young race fans will get the opportunity to win their way onto the Fun Bus each week, as well as participate in other fun activities at the track.
